(I saw Robert Cray open for Steve Winwood at Pacific Amphitheater [Costa Mesa, CA] in 1991.)
He treated that guitar like a supple piece of CLAY. (Not even sure myself what that's supposed to mean, but I didn't want to use the word "cr*p" for my turn.)

I understand Cray played a private fundraising gig for YALC: http://www.nyu.edu/giving/fundraisin...ng-clubs/yalc/

(this was an attempt on my part to avoid the obvious "clap", which was used only a few turns ago...whew!)

My own efforts to that end usually involve staying out of Mexico.

And you don't need to be a YALE alum to know that!

I don't want to seem like a BRAT, but I think our friend Russell is going to have a yellow flag thrown by gr8rcall on this one!

Yeah, I wouldn't BRAG about that double-play attempt, either.

HUH?

I didn't mean to mess it up....MisterK33 played BLAH....I did a reverse and changed the B to an E (I thought that was allowed...to reverse and change a letter) My apologies to all.

If gr8rcall starts to award demerits, then I'm in trouble plenty.

I'll stand by for an official ruling.

Russell

Unofficially, we can reverse the previously played word, OR change a letter, but not both.

You could either have played HALB, hoping it was a word or acronym (such as this: Harvard Association for Law and Business )

Or simply HALT the madness with a word like HALT.

[This post is not a turn for me. Play on from my last of BRAG]
