Default Where my coffee drinkers at?

Any coffee drinkers here? What's your daily drink?

I'm hooked on Starbucks ground coffee. House blend. I use my Aeropress coffee maker ($25 at amazon). Awesome stuff!

Love coffee.

At home:
I use Dunkin Donuts beans, course grind and brew it in a french press. I also use the same beans in a fine grind to pull espresso in my Krupps espresso machine.

At work (I work in food service):
Daily triple shot of Douwe-Eggbert espresso with a drop or two of half & half.

For the past 3 years it has been fresh Kona beans my son sent from Hawaii. Now he is at Ft Hood so I am on my own!
I just go with whatever I can find that looks interesting for my Keurig.

bocajava.com has some interesting coffee if you like various flavors and varieties. I order from them from time to time.

I'm just hooked on Starbucks right now but I do add in some others from time to time.

Thanks for the site, I'll check it out. I would say Brazilian coffee beans are my favorite. They are very robust and have good flavor. If you get a chance for true authentic Brazilian coffee, go for it!

Ehhh... Dunkin' black no sugar during the week (don't want to spike the ol' blood sugar), but a regular on the weekends.

There's also a great coffee house we try to go to every weekend that has something called a "Tuxedo": white chocolate mocha blended with a regular mocha. Majorly good!

Wirelessly posted (Opera/9.80 (Android; Opera Mini/7.5.32193/29.3107; U; en) Presto/2.8.119 Version/11.10)

Dunkin Donuts original with sugar in my 32oz bubba coffee cup. As for the Kona coffee, if you live near world market, you can pick some up there.

#KilltheKCup!

Favorite roasters:

Barismo
Terroir Coffee
Stumptown

I brew using a variety of methods. Daily morning drip from a Technivorm Moccamaster. Gear includes but not limited to a Baratza Vario grinder (coffee), Rancilio Rocky grinder (espresso), Rancilio Silvia espresso machine with PID, Hario Nouveau siphon, Espro press, Chemex with Able Kone, Hario V60, Behmor 1600 roaster.

Do I have a coffee "problem"??

Whoa!! That's quite the set-up you've got there, bgav! I'll confess to using a K-cup here at work when I need an afternoon pick-em-up, and was really considering buying one when the missus found the Aeropress.

MisterK33,

Thanks. The Aeropress is awesome and you can get great coffee out of it. I spare you my rant about the KCup (cost/serving, not environmentally friendly, poor quality, etc).

Check out Brewmethods.com for some Aeropress methods. You may want to invest in a thermometer, scale and burr grinder to get the most out of your Aeropress. Find a simple method that works for you, dial it in and be consistent (scale, thermometer, timer and burr grinder are a must).

My favorite single varietal coffees are Central American, and I always drink coffee black. Cream & sugar mask the flavors of any good coffee.

To a certain extent, things like aeropress and k-cups are all missing the point. Coffee has been around for centuries. It is the simple methods that produce the best coffee. For to a coffee growing region, observe how they "brew" it and then repeat. Espresso machines should be equally as simple. Inject steam through a proper grind, wahlah perfect. K.I.s.s.

Back in the 60's & 70's my dad worked for Maxwell House in Jax, Fl. After all those years of him coming home and stinking of coffee, I have never touched the stuff! Yech!

@searingxheretic the beauty if the Aeropress is its simplicity and portability, and it can produce truly great coffee. Just add freshly ground coffee and hot water. Even though it is made out if high tech materials, it is based on the immersion method, which is one of the oldest method of brewing. It isn't even in the same class as a KCup which uses stale pre-ground coffee, and both incorrect brewing temperature and extraction time.

Eh, usually I just go for basic decaf at Peet's. Ample sugar, whole milk. The decaf whole-bean Kivu coffee at Fred Meyer's isn't bad.

Actually, I don't really consume much coffee these days. I'm more likely to drain a damn good pot of tea. Dale Cooper'd hate me.
