I live in Northwest Vermont and my SBS-1 just picked up 4 Isreali AF aircraft (738A58, 738A59, 738A5A & 738A5C). I've checked Airframes.org and the Gatwick Aviation Society websites and they don't list these aircraft, so does anyone have any idea what they could be?

I was doing some searching a while ago, and came across a conversation between two or more planes on 140.400. I could only hear one side of the conversation, but it was FM.

Anyone have any ideas? Air Force maybe? It wasn't military-type chat, just a general conversation.

Boston Area Last Night.

Rarely do I look for military air frequencies but last night I tried and I picked something up on 319.4000 AM in the Boston area at 9 pm. They were chatting about C-17s and complaining about problems with them. Anyone know who this was?

Right now I am also hearing some faint chatter on 341.7000.

Hey everyone,

An interesting note, I am not sure about all of you, but i have had the IntraSquad radio frequencies in my radio for awhile and hadnt heard anything and was toying with the idea of taking them out of my scan list until the other night when i was driving past a former Army Munitions Facility in Arden Hills, MN (just north of St. Paul, MN) and heard their security staff talking on ISR Ch 3. They have had a VHF frquency listed for a long time and i have always scaned it, but have never gotten any results, so i suspect that they have migrated to using ISR radios.

Is anyone else hearing any ISR usage? I havent noticed much about them in chatter on the boards...

I am hearing someone called Flat Iron Base. I think it is Military. If I had to guess I would say it is related to Fort Rucker because they did talk about landing in Enterprise, Alabama. Do you know who this is ??
