Default Utah Federal Trunked Freqs

Subject: Hill AFB Sys 6227 freqs

Running trunker, it shows that all four sites are now
operating on narrowband 12.5 kHz. I have some
preliminary trunker files to share. Not all
users have gone digital. The Federal Protective
Service (AKA the GSA Police) are still in the clear,
but they now have new TGIDs.
30560 is Federal Protective Service (analog)
48000 is EG&G Logistics contractor (analog)

It is reputed that Dugway Proving Ground has a 380 system,
but the base is located so remote that it is difficult to confirm.
Additionally, there is Job Corps, 406.875.
Signals are very clear in and around Clearfield.
409.275 the US Postal Svc in Salt Lake City.
414.750 Postal Inspectors in SLC

There used to be plenty of VHF activity for:
FBI, US Marshall, ATF, Customs, but all of these,
still on VHF are encrypted now.
US Forest Service still on VHF freqs.

406.875 is actually the Ogden IRS security guards frequency. The buildings mentioned in the radio checks are all IRS facilities: Twin Rivers, Scowcroft, ARKA, etc. The FCC database has the Clearfield Job Corps frequency listed as 152.885. I have also heard the Utah National Guard on 165.140, and the US Forest Service on 172.510 as well as the main 168.125 frequency.

David

Looks like I will be taking a trip next Friday to search for a 380 system.

I have been searching off and on over the past 7 months, and still no 380 system in the Salt Lake Valley/Tooele-Dugway areas.
