Im not familiar with this NAC stuff. All I want to know is what do I need to program into my BCD 996t to listen to the following:

West Fargo, City of

Frequency Input License Type Tone Alpha Tag Description Mode Tag

154.28000 158.94000 WQCS575 RM 078 NAC WFGO FIRE West Fargo Fire P25 Fire-Tac

Thanks Mike but isnt there a way to convert NAC to hex or decimal to be able to listen? Im guessing just listening with open squelch wont do the trick either huh?

No, NAC is similar to CTCSS or DCS on analog.

If your radio is not equipped to handle it, then you can ignore it.

Since your 996T does not support NAC, it's basically operating in carrier squelch mode for all P25 digital signals.

If your radio did support NAC, then you could use it the same way you use CTCSS or DCS on analog signals.

Bottom line, just program in the frequency and forget that the NAC even exists.
