Exclamation Veterans Affairs Police

Would anyone out there like to help me develop a Veterans Affairs Police page for the wiki section? I have begun by getting a list from the VA website of all of the VA Medical Centers across the Country AND I have about 50 freqs so far that I have found - some confirmed as police freqs and others that are not. The FPS thread seemed to be a big hit. So I was wondering if VA Police would be as much of a hit.

How about VA it self, rather than just the Police Side...

Sounds good, one stop shopping

What is the URL ?

Hey Bill, we could do that too - put all the freqs up. There is no urrl yet as I didn't know if people would be interested.

Sounds interesting. I'm not great at coding wiki pages but I did restructure the FPS page and revise the TSA page. I would be willing to lend a hand if you'd like.

Here in the Baltimore region, there is (was?) a low power system that was intended to be a temporary until the NIH trunk went up. Since the NIH trunk is now active, I have no idea whether these VA freqs are still any good. I should stress that the VA system was very low power, and only intended to cover the campus and the area surrounding it.

The freqs and NIH trunk are listed in our database here;

Baltimore City, Maryland (MD) Scanner Frequencies and Radio Frequency Reference

Scanner Frequencies: National Institutes of Health Trunking System, Various, Maryland

Skip, if you need a hand with the wiki page give me a yell at ka3jjz@netscape.com and I'll give you some pointers. In the meantime, if you check any of the state collaboration pages, there are 3 links at the top of each page that will be a big help

I have summarized all the contributions given so far on skipshark's page. Please be sure to get this data to the database team where it's appropriate.

Default VA Police Elsmere (Wilmington), Del.

I picked up this frequency while spectrum sweeping in the parking lot of the VA Hospital in Elsmere, Delaware, just south of the city of Wilmington.

410.675 P-25 VA Police Dispatch/Operations???

If I remember correctly, the NAC code was 293 but I'm not completely sure about that.

The next time I'm down at the VA Hospital, I'll verify the NAC code.

Sounds like the correct NAC as I have in my notes [from someone else] a P25/$293 from just across the River, but he did not know the Agency.

Well it would seem that Shipshark took my idea and ran with it! That's great news and I'm glad to see that there was some interest in such a page. Here are some freqs I found today while searching for other things:

New York
162.21250 151.4 PL Castle Point Medical Center - Fire/Police
164.06250 74.4 PL Castle Point Medical Center - Fire/Police (new)

164.87500 69.3 PL Montrose VA Hospital - Police/Fire (new)

I just added my own frequencies to the mix instead of waiting for someone else! I know I have more NY freqs, I just have to find them!
