Default 173.4125 - Boston Mass area

18 Aug 2009 Tuesday - 820AM ish - 173.4125 - P25 NAC 1AF - 3 bars out of 5 bars on a Pro 106 - one male heard speaking - "have not picked up people for 1612 yet" - "10-4"

I am guessing this is vans at Hanscom AFB using a simplex system - or maybe this is an input freq to a repeater.

173.4125 - this morning (20 Aug 2009) around 8AM - NAC 1AF - apparently not a repeaterized channel

They are conducting a training exercise - Warrior 1 - Wolverine 1 - Bravo Parking 1 - the injured airman has been located, requesting medevac - he has been taken to the tent

Maybe this is the commanders channel or disaster channel for Hanscom AFB

Default 173.4125

I know we're many miles apart and freqs can be different in any location but i thoughr i'd at least give you something to go by. 173.4125 is used down here in Nashville as the Security PD freq for the 118th AW @ Nashville Int'l (KBNA). However it's analog (remember we're still in the dinosaur age in Nashville) and it produces a PL tone of 100.0

Thanks Joe C. You hear Air Force action on the freq, as do I. Maybe there is a pattern here. Peter Sz
