Default One Alpha Net Tac One

Monitored DOJ Cities repeater output ground surveillance. When outside repeater RF coverage area, units switched to One Alpha Net Tac One, exactly how said.

Surveillance location outside my 110W mobile reception range.

First time I've heard One Alpha Net Tac One. Nationwide designation? Ideas?

Chicago.

One Alpha would be the Zone in the radio
TAC 1 165.2375 (100.0) 165.2375 (100.0) simplex
NET 1 165.2375 (100.0) 166.4375 (100.0) Repeater
If using P-25 they would be known as D-Tac 1, D-Net 1 using $301 NAC

DOJ Cities repeater was 653N.

165.2375 was first frequency I thought. Have a dedicated 165.2375 receiver, no signal at the time.

Was a DEA surveillance with financial group Agents.

Thanks.

It's also possible that you heard "Nat Tac 1" which is a nationwide ICE channel, 163.7 NAC 169.
