For a while now there has been a few threads in the VA forum about 380Mhz trunked systems. Some of them seem to be linked to some other systems in other states like WA and CA. Here in Northern VA, there is one site that displays "Kitsap County" and one that displays "LA Utility". Anyone else find any of these 380MHz P25 systems in other states?

I guess I just wanted to start a thread for anyone to post info from all over in one common location.

Thanks.

Here's one

I went back and looked at a thread I started in the Washingon state forum.
What I think is happening with our DC area "Kitsap County" sites has something to do with the way our scanner (BCD396T) is built.

See this system http://www.radioreference.com/modules.php?name=RR&sid=2262
It has a sysid of 0010 and belongs to Kitsap County. I imagine our 396Ts would display "Kitsap County" when held on that system's control channel. It's just the way the scanner reads the 0010 I guess.

So with that I decided to see what I could find in CA, quite sure I would be able to find a system with 0008 as the sysid. Low and behold this

you're probably correct since that is LA Utility. kinda weird...
might be something to bring to the attention of Uniden to add to their growing list of fixes for the next firmware.
