All the 851-853 freqs are gone. Everything is from 854 to 859mhz. We are working on the new lcn and freqs.

I was wondering what happened when I turned on the scanners and saw alpha tags with no audio!

Doug, thanks for the new MSO EDACS list !!!

But hey, the frequency 855.9875 is duplicated; in the 2nd line and then again in the 12th, out of 15 total.

Was there a typo or an omission on the list? or does one of these usually get left out for only 14 total?

My RS PRO-93 / PRO-2053 won't allow a duplicate. So I left out the 12th position and have 14 total now and it seems to work as before. But I wonder if I am missing a channel.

The 12th should be 855. 9375 with a total of 15 frequencies.

So is the 15th channel position still empty? And this is all reference the west site, yes?

Frequencies are up

Looks like the Manatee database has been updated on the website. Thanks again to everyone who made the updates available so quickly and accurately.

Before the db was updated, it showed no freq (N/A) in the 15th channel position, with the 15th freq in the 16th position. Had this been wrong all along?

I don't think so. The old LCN with 15 blank worked fine. They call it a hole in the system. The new LCN has no blanks.

Manatee West Site

The West site listing does NOT show any Control Channel. Is this correct or not? I would think that with the three other sites having control channels the West site would also have a control chennel or maybe more than one.

Thank you

I was under the impression that EDACS systems CAN and DO use any of the freqs of a site as a control channel. I've never timed it or kept an up-to-the-minute record, but the Hillsborough system changes control channels at least once daily I believe.

That is correct, EDACS can and do shift CC frequencies. The old system did and the new system has shifted from LCN1 to LCN2 and now LCN4.
