Does anyone know if the city of Tampa fire dept will be going to the Hillsborough Edacs system anytime soon.

Tampa FD and PD are in the process of changing over to provoice.

Some razors are apparently not as cute as they think they are. I guess he/she likes to get a shock value from posting bad information.

Actually.... I don't believe he was really trying to be funny. Rather; I believe his 2nd comment was aimed at trying to cover-up the fact that he popped off pre-maturely and, in reality, hasn't a clue as to what is REALLY happening in Tampa.

I still hear Tampa police in the clear but if Tampa fire dept & Tampa PD go provoice guess I will have to find something else listen. just don't understand why everyone wants to go digital and encrypted, I can understand encrypting some channels for certian operations.

Tampa fire has the new consoles in the com center and some units have the radio`s. Not sure when they will switch i havent even heard them testing yet.
