Default Speaking of Volusia County

Tonight it was decided by the City of DeBary to award the contract for fire service to the City of Orange City. To be dispatched by the City of Deltona fire dept. Got it? This will go into effect Nov1st.

Default DeBary fire

Orange City fire will start providing fire to service to DeBary effective Nov.6th and Deltona will begin dispatching at that time.

Now the VCFS station in Debary will probably close as a result or start to be staffed by Orange City firefighters.

If the station closes imagine the long wait time for the Meadowlea community near the Volusia/Seminole County line, perhaps they could send Seminole Cty. Sta. 34 units to that area.

Default DeBary fire

Wrong, The station is not closing and there was never any plans for this to happen. Station will be staff as it is now but only by Orange City FF in place of county FF's.
