Hey Guys,

I Just Purchased a BCD396XT and set up OFD on it and the difference is incredible, the audio is 89% better and not as much simulcast distortion,

i have to check it against the other radios to make sure the system hasn't been tweaked, but this is promising.

the PSR series and the T series, I live near downtown and had a really hard time with the older scanners decoding the Fire Department which is about the only thing not encrypted, now i can hear them much better with the 396xt.

PSR-500 - but the 396XT works better where i am at, i can actually hear OFD, I liked the PSR-500 but the 396XT is working quite well.

My biggest complaint is the need for a GPS for Multi Site Trunking, the PSR series uses the signal strength to select towers and it works quite well on th MARCS and Safe-T and AWIN systems, the GPS is a hassle.
