Control Channels:
852.3875
853.2875
853.8875

Re: 857.750 All I know is that last week I heard one of their TAC channels on this frequency..Both the Mobile and the Base. Limited range of about 1 mile. I was in my vehicle using an ICOM 2720H scanning 800 mHz.
Incidently, the ICOM will not allow the downloading of frequencies below 820.00 so their mobile frequencies in the 806 area can't be heard.

I've got a Home Patrol on them 24/7 now. Just "in the clear" voice mobile service test counts the last couple of days. Little activity. Any ideas on a go live date?

Was at Sevilla inspecting my house under construction, had 853.6875 data as site 101, and 853.8875 as site 102, both from the EOC location. No voice transmissions heard. I'll be moving sometime in April.

Default Testing...testing...1-2-3....

SJCFR has people in the field today, "testing 800 system portables," according to what they said on high band.

Hearing more tests at different locations. Almost sounds like St. Johns personnel (2 guys) running around testing fire station bases and handhelds in ERs and numerous other locations. Surprised to hear them testing on the weekend. Still not seeing talkgroups. These guys are just using first names to call each other.

That is weird how they use first name. I guess they want to get on the system faster cause of alot of crime is going on there. I wonder if they page the stations still use VHF but put the call out on P25 not on VHF.

Nah...they're just prepping for the cut over. All VHF channels are still active. Sounds like they've gotten past the required 30 day fail tests. Hard cut over for a system like this has got to be a *****. Still looking like early March for the launch. TGID programming might show at the last minute, I don't know. I was hoping to see some talkgroups show up by now.

I was talking about when they switch over to P25 wonder if the Dispatch will page on VHF to the stations but will go back on P25. Bay Co has 2 vhf and 1 uhf they do that but hear the rest on 800 system.

Sounds like they plan to cut over using portables, Not enough room in the mobiles for the new P25 mobile radios. Should be interesting. So I'd imagine the VHF is coming out of the mobiles.
