Default Destin, vacation, worth bringing scanner?

Taking the family to the beach. I have a GRE PSR-800. Can I pick up city and county LEO/EMS there? I figured I would ask here to get some help before combing the database.

Thanks!

Okaloosa County SO is in the clear. Use FM frequencies from the database for SO. Destin area is the East dispatch.

There's always going to be something to listen to - even if you can't hear everything you'd like, you can probably find unknown and unlisted nuggets doing various focused or generic searches. Maybe I'm odd but I get more enjoyment from the hunt than listening to "routine" stuff....
