Reposts of News Stories

Folks,

Please don't repost news stories verbatim on the web site - either in news stories or posts. Instead use the first paragraph and provide a link to the story, or write your own summary and provide a link to the story.

If you see someone doing this - please moderate their posts and explain that reposting verbatim is a copyright issue and causes problems for us.

Sorry about that. I missed this somehow.

People always complained if you only posted the title, and link. For some reason they were hesitant to click on links, or didn't want to wait for the article to download (slow connection maybe). Plus I thought as long as you also referenced the source and suppled the link to the original is was ok. I guess not.

It won't happen again.
