Default Air Nav Radar Box

Has this thread ever come up as a possible forum here?

I have been using one for a year now and although most users are outside the US and mainly in Europe, I see more and more US users popping up on the ANRB network.

I think there is a commonality of interest here on RR and suggest it may be a good place for US users of ANRB to gather. The two sites in Europe (ANRB and SBS) have a distinct "Euro insiders'" flavor to them.

There is a good deal of misinformation and ignorance about this system and potential US users don't seem to be able to talk freely with those outside the US. I think it needs an intelligent, system aware, moderated site to provide a source of information and help much like this site does for the many scanner users.

Worth a discussion or has it already been done and done?

Hiram01,

Jason is correct and the aircraft monitoring forum would be the place for such a subject. However, if the donnybrook that is taking place in this thread is an example of what we might expect, very little AirNav posting will be allowed. I realize that you cannot see all of this, but that thread has many deleted posts and there are participants there that have been sanctioned and are close to being further punished.

Many thanks to you all for the information.

I did not even know there was an AIRCRAFT FORUM and would not have connected ANRB/SBS with it.

It is a shame that some people live to "flame" and badmouth instead of learn and share.

I looked at the Aircraft Monitoring Forum and see your point.

I find it strange that strangers can be so helpful on the Scanners/Programming forums and then so unsocial right next door.

Sad, very sad.

Thanks again guys. I appreciate your taking the time to wise me up.
