Default Phantom posts?

The past few days, I've noticed a lot of posts not showing, even though vB says they are there. The first I noticed it was in a thread I started, where it indicated there was a new post by a particular member in the thread, but none could be found when I checked. The automatic marked as read was thrown off by it as well, because it was a phantom post. Just now I see this thread showing as new in the Radio Shack section, but there's nothing there!

This would be the work of the quite poorly-designed SEO software used in the Forums (it makes the title of the post appear in the URL), and a dash as in the above post is interpreted as a space, confusing the system.

Just for general information, that same problem exists for UserID's. Anyone with a "-" in the user name, generally gets lost in the shuffle.

Yes, they are fine; just "-" which equals a blank.
Your OK N_Jay.

This happened to me once. It was a topic that I started while using the mobile site on my BB... I forgot about it because I hadnt ever seen it happen before.

I just started a new thread in this forum for a similar issue from the mobile site. Hopefully we can get it resolved.

Yeah I just noticed it happening again with your reply. I'm pretty surprised Lindsay hasn't addressed this issue.

I've mentioned it to Lindsay.

Again this is because of the shoddy software used for mobile forum access. Hopefully the author can get the bugs worked out.
