Default thread suggestion: CAUGHT ON TAPE!

with all the hundreds of scanner feeds we have at our finger tips here on RR, it goes without saying that many major incidents are being recorded. With the archive feature, it makes it relitively easy to go back and listen in on what happened.

For example... I live in Arizona and heard a story today about an incident where 2 officers were involved in a shootout in North Saint Paul MN. See the story at North St. Paul Officer Slain While Answering The Call Cops Dread - PoliceLink

I went to the archives for that area, and lo and behold you can hear the tragic event unfold.

Why dont we start a thread for people to post about major incidents they heard on their feeds? They could either attach a file they made, or simply point the reader to the right time and location. Some might argue that these events should not be thought of as "entertainment" and I agree with them. I listen to them because I think they are interesting. They also are great training tools for other LEO's, but most importantly, they serve as a reminder that our brave men and women in blue are never out of harms way and are sacrificing their own lives to protect you and I each and every day.

People could post anything from a pursuit they heard, to a SWAT situation, or to a situation like I mentioned above.

Move to the forums administration forum.

Do you mean you would like a forum added, not a thread right?

I agree 100% and think it would make for a very popular thread/forum. I can't believe that their is not one already (at least I haven't found one yet).
