Default Fourms Error Message

I love the site and I've never had a problem, But here recently I have noticed if I go to my homepage or the database and then jump over to either the wiki, private messages, or the forums, Usually I'll get a page cannot be displayed error, Then I'll have to back up using the back button and do it again to get it to work, Is this in the site or something in my browser? I never had a problem before.

"Page Cannot be Displayed" is ambiguous - we need more info. Look towards the bottom of the error message and there should be a 3 digit code starting with a 3, 4, or 5. We need to know what that code is.

It could be your browser. I've been getting some of this recently, too. If I click on Refresh in my browser, however, it will go right to the page I was attempting to access. Just for comparison, I'm using IE8 on an XP Pro machine with SP3 and this has been happening, more or less, since the last Microsoft updates.

I'm using the Mozilla Firefox latest version, However I will look at those numbers next time they come up and let you know.

Actually I get this occasionally myself. It is a time-out issue. With the change of the back end on the site and depending on load sometimes your browser will time out before it can get a response from the servers. Lindsay is working on "tuning" the response time but this may continue for the short-term until such tweaks are done.
