Default Infractions

How do you get rid of the annoying box that shows up below your friends in the control panel?

They're all expired yet this box sits there. It should disappear.

You don't. Your misbehaving here will be forever held over your head.

Seriously though, I don't think it can be disabled. I think it is hard coded into vBulletin, though I may be wrong.

That doesn't hardly seem fair. I got one for displaying a little attitude because someone else had an attitude. I got it, he didn't. It's like have a restraining order slapped on you because someone doesn't like you for whatever reason. A restraining order can be fought in court, but not this. And it stays forever? No Sir. Not fair at all.

As my ex-wife's attorney told me when she heard my reaction to the draft of the divorce decree, "Mr. Schultz, FAIR is a weather report!"

OK Folks, you've talked me into it. I am now going to go through the source code of vBulletin to find out if this is even a setting.

Thanks alot.

It might be only something you and admins can view. I clicked on your profile and it doesn't show.

Hmm, I checked my List of Friends, and my infraction did not show at the end like it does as in poltergeisty's illustration, nor can I see poltergeisty's by viewing his profile. I can only see mine if I'm in my User CP. Interesting.

I'd still like to see it go away, though.

Thats correct, I checked with my test account and it does not show. I don't think there is a way to remove the list, and as Ben says it's probably hard coded.
If it is removed, it removes all the history for the moderators to see for future reference.

I will check Vbulletin as well.

Oh yeah? Well, don't get so distressed

I'll look and see what I can do. I don't see it as that big of an issue since it's not totally public.

Who ever got it removed thanks! Only makes sense that the box would disappear if they had expired.

I would have worn it as a badge of honor.
It shows you've cut your teeth on the RR forums...

All of your infractions still fit on one page... Many have 3 or more pages per profile.
