https (secure) enforced not working

With a lot of travel to various unsecured Wifi I've been trying to use https whenever possible. I've noticed that if I try to enforce https specifically on the forums section of RR I am taken only to the home page even though the address shows https://forums.radioreference.com

http (unsecured) works fine.

Any ideas?
