Default Missing highlighted threads

Some days, when entering forums, there is an absence of highlighted threads. As such, it is necessary to start at the beginning and try to find where I left off.

I have a permanent cookie enabled and am 'welcomed' when I access the site.

Today (first time noticed), when I entered my last forum of interest, the function was restored. Going back to forum '1', it showed a highlighted thread. Interestingly, a thread that I had already read was not highlighted.

Is this a problem on your end, or is there something that I need to do? Minor annoyance aside, I feel that I am missing out on some information that I would want.

Thanks.

You might want to use the "Report Post" button to get someone's attention.

Moved as requested.

ETA: Now as to your specific situation. I read it, then read it again and although I understand what you mean by highlighting (unread topics) I don't understand what you are saying is the problem.

This tends to be a cookie issue on the user's end. Try searching for cookie and/or (un)read in this forum to see if that helps or explains the issue. There's not anything we can do on this end as it's dependent on the browser.

Sorry, I may be a little verbose at times; it stems from my past need to write instructions for persons of varying background. Well, there I go again.

Simply put, on any given day, the highlights may or may not appear. Recently, there was a 2 or 3 day stretch where this happened (unusual).

I block tracking cookies and have done so over a long period. This also happened prior to using the software. One day, they were gone--later, went back to a previously visited forum and they were turned on (all of my usual visited forums).

As an aside, I tried to locate the 'report' button as requested. Could you advise where it is and what it looks like?

Thanks.

It's the little triangle at the top right of every post.
