Sounds like intermod to me, a P25 voice transmission and a signal with post MDC 1200.

New sound - What encryption type?

After listening some more today, this is most certainly a radio transmission and not intermod. There was a request for a radio test right before this transmission. Here is a new sound file.

I find this on most of the Border Patrol/Customs/Dea and fed channels. conventional , analog and trunked.

when you figure out how to clear it.. please let me know :)

always seems that the planes are in the clear, the main channel for customs orlando is always scrambled with this tone.

you could get more pm messages if you turned them on.
google w2sjw for sound bites
and the answer is not really to de-scramble

That's definitely an MDC-1200 ANI burst at the end.

1200 baud FSK and it matches the NRZ-I encoded sync pattern (1000 0100 1000 1101 1011 1111)
