Default RadioShack Pro 18 vs GRE COM PSR-800

As I am still looking for a new scanner, and trying to decide on how much scanner I want to pay for, what are the Thoughts on these models. I read on the WIKI, the Pro-18 is missing a couple of options that the PSR-800 has. Thanks KCŘWNY

Thank You, I read that thread, and come to the same conclusion. Perhaps the price will get lower on the PSR-800.

Yes, correct on the less features, -not- correct on price. The pro-18 runs around 320.00 about 100.00 LESS than the 800.

Amazon price on PSR-800 is about $389. The ability to record specific TG's is definitely worth the extra you may or may not pay over the PRO-18 model.

actually, i think i am correct on the price too. The scanner was on sale for $399, while the psr 800 can be had from authorized dealers on ebay for less then that.. (not sure how you got $320?) Even on sale, the Pro-18 cant compete with the psr800
