Default Local electric utility

Our local electric co-op recently switched from 153.605 to 461.9875. I can scan that frequency but can not receive them. What do I need to look for in my next scanner in order to receive them? Thanks

It is MOTOTRBO.

None of the current production scanners have the ability to decode these transmissions.

You may however be able to receive it with DSD - Digital Speech Decoder and a scanner with a discriminator tap.

Thank you for the reply. I talked to the company that installed the radios and they are the Motorola XPR series, Mototrbo digital with GPS Safe Mobile support. I have a Winradio sound card style receiver along with my Radio Shack Pro 2006. Maybe Winradio will come up with another software update that allows me to listen to 461.9875. Thanks,
