Default Astro tx ?

Hey all,

When you watch Alaska State Troopers or Cajun Justice... What are the four beeps that you hear when they transmit?

I know on the first 48. They have a high four beeps and a low 4 beeps.

Thanks,
shawn

PTT tones. Basically on Motorola trunked systems if the radio is programmed for it... you will get a series of beeps that tells the user that he got a channel grant and can now talk.

Its been a staple of Motorola trunked systems for as long as I can remember. Worse the same way as Nextel does (iDEN - Motorola flavor of trunking)

Wirelessly posted (Opera/9.80 (Android 4.0.4; Linux; Opera Mobi/ADR-1212030829) Presto/2.11.355 Version/12.10)

4th beep signifies they are transmitting in the clear.

Awesome! Thanks! Sorry for the delay! Now what do all the other beeps mean?

Thanks,
