If you're looking for a desk stand for your handheld scanner or radio, these guys make a pretty slick stand, but costs $32.85

I don't have one myself, but looks very nice.

The best holder I use is a nice metal bookend, I currently have my Bcd396T and BC245xlt on my desk using this setup. They offer a nice sturdy base, they are actually kind of attractive, and best of all cheap and availible at any department store.
