Listening to local emergency dispatches the other night. I heard one for a vehicle accident. While this is not funny it turned out that the accident was in my neighbors yard approx. 200 ft from my house. Never heard a thing. The young lady was OK, but the car was a mess.

Earlier tonight I heard an officer pull over a vehicle that was traveling with no rear driver side tire.

RDGDIGITAL, several; years ago at a Rally, had some Polish drivers from chicago doing 100+ on a transit road on three wheel. Two front and one rear. They had one rear and one rim, no tire.Transit roads, were blacktop, 55 mph average roads. State HP stopped them, taken to court for a "come to Jesus" session with the Judge.

Went on a vehicle fire call, with no vehicle found at the dispatched intersection. There was a little groove in the freshly repaved blacktop, that headed the same direction that PD said they had gone. (The road had just been resurfaced; I think the stripes had not even been painted yet.)

Turned out to be a car going down the road with just a rim, for one wheel. When the PD found the car, at a gas station, said wheel was still glowing.

Several years ago I spotted a Roadrailer type trailer dropped at the side of the road with one set of rail wheels dropped. For the next 30 miles, there was a groove in the pavement with an occasional matching groove every so often.
