Finding Trunk CT's

Ok so im wondering .. Ive read over most my manual and ive read so much about people searching for CT's (control chennals) I have a Uni BC246T .. Is it able of searching a system or am i in the dark when it comes to looking for the important part

CT is a Connect Tone. You don't need this for any trunktracker - it refers to a subaudible tone that is sent when a unit attempts to connect to the system. Control channels are abbreviated CC, and yes, a mode known as Control Channel mode would allow you to see all the activity (or just selected talkgroups) on a system by simply keying in the primary and alternate CCs and selecting the correct plan. 73s Mike
