Unfortunately, it depends on the repeater owners to enter their locations, and at least here in Southern California, most of them seem to consider that information just slightly less secret than the combination to their beer vaults.
Seems that repeaters whose actual physical location is known tend to be vandalized or stolen outright rather often.
I took a look at this and updated a couple of repeaters that I used to handle when I was in Louisiana. We never had a problem with anyone trying anything so I wasn't worried about putting the exact location in the map...I wonder if the fact that they are behind the Sheriff's Office had anything to do with that?
