CB radio

(I dont know if this is the right place for this topic, please correct me)

Anyways, My grandpa just gave me his anctient Hy-Gain II Cb radio. Ive looked all over the net to find info on this CB but it is nowhere to be found. Does anyone have or know of a page about this type of CB. Thanks in advance

I remember the Hy Gain series radio's, that was a long time ago.

HyGain was an antenna manufacturer in Lincoln, NE back at the peak of the CB craze in the late 60s to mid 70s. They, like many others, tried to cash in on the phenomena. They produced a series of decent radios, noted more for their well known trademark than their technical exellence. Like most of the other newcomers, their foray into radio production lasted only a few years.
