Without a PL search feature, you'll need to get a list of PL tones. Then enter the frequency numerous times, first without any PL, then each subsequent time with a different PL. See which one pops up active to match the agency you are seeking.

It's a pain, but worth it if you're getting a lot of interference.

Based on the list of scanners in your signature, you have more than one that will search for PL's. There is no need to try one at a time. BTW, your own 246T has a list of PL's, Just rotate the menu knob when you are in the PL field.
