Newbie considering Pro-2096 or BCD996T

Hi,

I am a newbie and would like to get a scanner (my area just went digital - Chemung Country, New York). I am considering either the Pro-2096 or the BCD996T and to tell the truth I am completely confused in comparing them. I would appreciate any insight or help, realizing that in general opinions are opinions. It would be especially helpful if anyone could speak to the scanner performance in Chemung County.

You may want to add the new GRE digital line into the running. There are plenty of threads on all of the digital scanners here in the forums. It may be a good idea to study the forums (search) and also the WIKI link at the top of the page...Good Luck and Good Scannin Hoser
