Hi Yall,
Will the Pro 2052 follow specific conversations without being interrupted by school bus conversations and such.
I want to only listen to my towns police calls on 800 mhz without interruptions from non specific other groups.
Thanks, Scott

You can set your scanner up with the PD ID's in the five Scan List then use SCAN not SEARCH. Each list has space for 10 ID's and only those programmed will be scanned. BTW if you see - - - - - instead of SCAN on the display, you are in ID SEARCH, if so, Press SCAN. BTW, you will need to press the number 1 through 5 during ID SCAN to select the list(s) which have your ID's programmed. Those numbers will appear at the top of your display.

I dont have the scanner yet. I just dont want to make a mistake and get a scanner that wont follow specific conversions. I have a Pro 2030 and am plaged with all sorts of junk on 800 to interfer with the calls I want.
Thanks, Scott
How many Police and fire TG's do you have for the system?

The Pro-2052 is a very good scanner. I monitor just the Fire Department on our local EDACS system, which has 11 frequencies and hundreds of various talkgroups. Once programmed, you can set it to monitor only the talkgroups you want to follow.
