Default Roswell Park PD and Roswell Park Ranger

Today I was out in the park in roswell,ga by the Chattahoochee River area and while I was walking I saw a Roswell Park Police Vehicle and a Park Ranger... I was wondering if they are dispatched by Roswell PD or what's the frequency or what's the ID I looked here on the database and there's nothing for Roswell Park PD or for Park Rangers....Thanks...Chris

The Only Thing I see here on the DB is this but i'm not sure if these ID's are the ones for this...if anybody can confirm if any of these id's are the right ones for Roswell Park Police and for the Park Rangers Please let me know...

They are all dispatched on the main channel, although I don't know which identifier they use... no special channel.

Alpha, Bravo, Charlie & Delta are the zone cars, 5## are the traffic enforcement units. I have a Sgt that comes in my store periodically, so I'll check with him and post it here.

Roswell Park Rangers are police officers employed by the Roswell Police, they use the same talk groups as Roswell PD.

The National Park talk group you listed is used by the National Park law enforcement federal officers that patrol the Chattahoochee National Forest. There are a lot of parks that border the Chattahoochee between Atlanta and Lake Lanier, they police all of them. Not a whole lot of activity on that talk group, more so on the weekends when they are out writing citations for people who dont pay the parking fee.

Default Roswell park police

Hello all, I am a Roswell Park Police Officer. We used to be Park Rangers, however we changed to park police in 2003. We are dispatched on Patrol 1. We use 880-884 identifiers. We are not a part of the police department. We are actually sworn through the Roswell Marshals Office but answer to the Director of Recreation and Parks.

Hope this answers your questions.
