Default Now what the heck did I do!

I have messed something up on my 396xt and can’t figure it out. I have tried for over an hour!
When I am listening to a transmission on the scanner, it will stay on that channel for about 5 seconds and then resume scanning, even if the transmission isn’t over. This is happening on all my talk groups. I have check priority scan about 15 times and it is off for everything. I have reloaded my files on the scanner that were saved from earlier this morning when everything was working fine.
Can one of you fine people help this poster child out and tell me what settings I should look at?
When I reload the files I am using FreeScan and have it set to erase all systems and settings before the download.
Thanks for your help!
Steve

Check your delay settings to make sure you don't have negative delay turned on.

Nope, that was one of the things I checked, but I just did get it working again. I did turn the scanner off several time to see if that would work but it didnt. I tried it again and took the batteries out and let it set for about 5 minutes, turned it back on and all is good. Dont know what the heck was going on, but a hard reset worked.
Thanks for your advice though!
Steve

Are you using the file I uploaded? I have the delays set to only 2 seconds. I did just upload a new file to the yahoogroups.
