Exclamation Tractor Fire!

Oconee Co. Fire Dept.( Station Six ) was called in for Mutual Aid today. A tractor caught fire, due to reasons unknown to me, sparked an act of cooperation between several entities in the area. Along with Oconee, Morgan Co. and the local Forestry Service jumped in to douse the fire accidentally started in the rear, or an adjacent lot of a Residence in the River Walk subdivision, just off then Price Mill Rd., southwest of the Oconee line and the Appalachee River. An unusual situation developed when a second call was issued for the same company to be dispatched. Shortly, a call after a command post was established, was sent out for a particular truck. Dispatch had trouble copying the fireman due to low audio. I thought at first the man was in a hole, and then someone else placed the request for a recall of the same dept. It seems that all was well, and that the problem was resolved quickly, and that the fire was doused. The fire was nowhere near the scale of the fire at Victoria Station, earlier in the year, also reported by me.

Two antennas met on a rooftop--, The wedding was O.K., but the reception was great!
