I have done a search but cant find anything. Does anyone know the location of the Cobb County towers? I would like to plot them on a map.
Thanks!

Way ahead of ya, all done for you on RR.

Though, I will say I don't believe the one for Cumberland pkwy is correct, as far as being on the Barnett Bank building. The location doesn't match up with a large building as plotted on the map. The rest look correct.

It is correct. Barnett Bank building is now known as Riverwood 100. Both analog and digital sites are there for Cobb. You can see the antennas if you look closely (from the street).

Not doubting they are on that building, but if you look at where the icon is on the RR map, it is over a strip mall on Cobb Pkwy. The icon is not on the building.

The Gordy tower is sitting along side the baseball field Sandy Plains @ Gordy Parkway. They should have made a deal with the cell phone tower people and saved money by using their tower!

there are reasons why they did not co-locate, for one, Cobb doesn't want to fork over $2800 a month to Crown or ATC for space, and moreover co-locating on a site with 800MHz cellular and iDEN base stations present means lots of headaches from interference (which is why a site was never placed on Sweat Mountain itself even though in the original 1992 RFP for the first system it was supposed to be a prime site.)

The Gordy tower is also much taller than any cell tower I have seen.

I wonder how much the tower company is paying Cobb County since it's on their property?
