Default GA Search and Rescue

Anybody know anything about 155.175 and 155.560? Saw them on an on-line listing...

Where in Georgia is that freq purported to be used for search/rescue?

I'm assuming that your in Georgia, given that you posted in this sub-forum. A reference list that I have indicates that both Hall County and Gainesville municipal at one time or another used 155.160 as an emergency freq. Being that Hall is P25 now, it's not very likely that it's still in use there. Dot 175 also seems to have been in use by Hall in the past. That's about all that I can find, FWIW.

A quick search on the interwebz shows that dot 160 is currently licensed to a private business in Hall County and dot 175 is assigned to a hospital in Walton.

The hospital in Walton (Walton Regional Med Ctr.) doesnt even use the 175 freq anymore - not since 1995 when thr first 800 trs went online in the county. Newton Ems used that freq up to 08 when they all went to a Macom system. I think Green County and Douglas County both use it, but I'm not sure if its ems or what. This frequency was at one time used is several congested parts of the state as "HEAR 2", a secondary hospital calling channel, but I dont think the state ever actually recognized it as being a legit hear channel.

KSL409, Walton County Hosp, is active until 2/2011, but I had no idea of whether it's actually in use given how far away I am. Thanks for clearing up any confusion reformed.
