Default Floyd Co. breaking up

This is my first post here!
Uniden BCD-396XT
New ScanCat software (latest version)
Location: Cedartown, GA

I have got a new BCD396XT and have programed in Floyd, Harrellson, and Calhoun AL into it. I can pick up from every county but it seems that Floyd is just recieving choppy and also I don't seem to get the reply/talkbacks to much either. Calhoun Alabama seems to sound fine.

So I'm wondering if any other settings need to be adjusted?
Set Delay Time <5>
System Site Hold Time: <0>

I am terribly confused and a little disgusted about how I am picking up Floyd. I figure it must be some advanced setting I haven't gotten quite right yet. Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

BTW... have made a .RSD file for Scancat if anyone wants me to email it to them. I would be glad to share it.

Smile Conventional channels

OK, second post today
Different subject (I think)
I only programmed the P25 channels into system #1 and did not enter any of the conventional freqs. Is Floyd still using any of the other channels? If so, can they be programmed into the same "system" or should I enter them in another system (like #2 for instance).
I have the squelch turned as low as it will go for the P25 system, so I assume it would need to be higher for the conventional freqs like all of my older scanners do?
Sorry for all of the dumb questions. I don't know much but I will be glad to help anyone with anything I know. (not about this obviously)

Hello Cedartown1

Unable to send you a PM.
See this thread for more info about the Rome / Floyd County 800 P-25 System if you like.

I can pick up Calhoun some on my way home to Centre on Hwy 411. There audio sounds GREAT compared to Floyd GA, which still is choppy. Past Centre going to Leesburg you loose it all.
