State of Georgia TRS

Can anyone tell me whether the trunked system - 2E2F - is still in service, and if so, what state agencies are using it? It's the system that had a change posted today to delete the Forsyth, Georgia site.

I remember hearing of the proposed "Olympic banana" to connect Atlanta, Macon and Savannah on 800 for the 1996 Olympics. Supposedly, it was to eventually cover the entire state. I think the Georgia TRS was the first phase.

Thanks for the replies. Great use of taxpayer dollars to still have this unused trunked system around.
