Douglas County FD now digital

Last night the Douglas County Fire Department made the switch to DMR. They still appear to be using 152.7425. It's quite clear that it's digital noise coming in and DSD plus is saying DMR, although I can't get it to decode.. imagine that. TRBO seems to be the flavor of the month in this county.

If anyone out there is more savy then I and would like to confirm that it can or cannot be monitored, I would appreciate it.

They do radio checks between 8:30am and 9:00am every morning.

I would not be surprised if they are using encryption, the SO is. Like Gwinnett county, they might not be proud of what they do.

I wonder if their firegrounds will be digital/encrypted as well?

What a waste. Shoulda jumped on WARRS or the Cobb county system like Douglasville.

I know on mutual aid calls with Cobb, they always have to have a runner or try to bum a portable.
