Red face LTR system

PSR 500 MANUAL states use LTR for LOGIC TRUNKED RADIO LTR) systems. Is this the same as LTR Standard? What im doing is entering freqs in and it is a System Type of LTR Standard.

Yes. If by LTR Standard, you mean as opposed to LTR Passport, which your scanner can't trunk.

I may get corrected on this, but it's pretty much like Multi-site for LTR trunking, where multiple systems are networked together, allowing you to go beyond the coverage area of your LTR Standard system. Theres a little info on it in the wiki:

http://wiki.radioreference.com/index...R#LTR_Passport

Right now there aren't any scanners capable of following LTR Passport conversations, but maybe we'll get lucky and GRE will include this in a new upgrade.
