Gre psr 500 help/question

I am wondering if someone might be able to help me with a question about a PSR 500 setting that I wonder if I can change.. Here Goes: On my GRE PSR 500 when I name the bank, 1 2 3 etc. and the name the frequency, When it scans and stops on a frequency, it flashes back and forth from bank name to frequency name, Is there a way to change a setting where it doesn't show the bank name when it stops on a frequency while scanning?

You can turn off the primary display element.
This setting will turn off the primary display element for both types of objects.
1) For trunked systems the "TSYS alpha tag" is the primary display element.
2) For conventional frequencies the "scan list alpha tag" is the primary display element.

Here we go:
PGM
F3 (GLOB)
Scroll to "LCD BlinkOn" (default should be 50)
SEL
Change value to 1 (turns off primary display element)
F1 (Save)
