SAME Alerts on PSR-300

Does the PSR-300 have the ability to customize specific SAME alerts to be heard? For example, can I set it to only alert for Severe Thunderstorm Warning and Tornado Warning only, and not for other events like winter storm advisory? I couldn't find anything on this in the manual. Perhaps this could be something that is editable via the computer cable and software? I don't own one yet and I'm still researching, but it looks like the 300 is what I'll end up with (I'd like to go digital, but can't afford that yet).

No, you'd need to buy a real weather radio for that. $30 is a much better investment, because you can still use your scanner.

While I agree that a $30 dedicated weather radio is a better idea, there are scanners that do it (e.g. the PSR-500 family).
