Default Psr-100 or psr-200?

Which would be a better base unit for an apartment, the psr-100 or 200?

Only the PSR-200 is a base unit... the PSR-100 is a handheld.

reception wise, i'd say the handheld, only because you can pick it up and move it around the apartment much easier for those hard to get signals. as far as sound goes, the psr100 is louder then hell, i would expect the 200 to be the same

I have owned both. The PSR-100 is a much better scanner than the PSR-200. Better sound, better reception etc... don't know why but that's my experience.
