non scanned list

I have a PSR-500 and use ARC 500 software. My question is.....I just downloaded my scanner onto the computer and there is a huge amount of crap in the not scanned list. How can I get it out of there and into a list??? I have tried just about everything. I didn't even know this freqs weren't even being scanned!! How did they get into this list?? Thanks for any help

actually this is what is happening....every time I import conventional freqs from RR it goes straight to the not scanned list ( this is using the new updated ARC500) and I can not get them out of that list.

I do not use "software" , i only program the scanner by hand so, you go to the freqy in the "ns" SList, drop down and scroll to the SList you want to transfer it too and turn on the "*" astrisk for that SList and press save and its transferred.....
