Default More detail?

Is there any additional information on the 300...more detailed than the owner's manual?

There really no description of the display...or the attenuator. I thought I found a more detailed manual for the 300 recently??

Thanks.

Question on rebanding...how would I know whether or not my GRE300 is rebanded??? I know I do not seem to get any of the trunked frequencies in my area, and it looks like I should have been in the "first wave" according to the 800 website.

The one frequency I have programed from the database is Reading/Motorola 867.300, which appears to be the old band???

From WIKI: "All licensees with channels between 866-869 MHz (NPSPAC) must relocate to equivalent channels between 851-854"

1st of all make sure your programming is correct, 2) just keep checking THe RR DB & the FC for the new frequencies & last of all, when & ifyou can no longer pick up a CC this may be the reason. All frequencies will drop by 15Mhz. and if any of the frequencies end in ZERO ex : 858.3500 it will be reassigned a new frequency. IF I am wrong on any of this someone 1 will correct me VERY soon hehe.
