PSR-500 acting up

Something is going on with my 500.Last night i changed batteries and turned it on and it would hardley pick up anything.I could pickup local sheriff dep EMS and Fire and those are all non digital.Now all of this is in SCAN mode.When i put it in MAN the freqencies i cannot pick up in scan mode are coming thru fine.I mean how does it happen that just like that it goes from singing to silence.Please advise.In scan mode it won't pick up any digital

What system are you monitoring in Greenville? Is it possible that the system has rebanded?

Do you make any changes to your radio programming prior to swapping batteries?

I also see some encryption in use, but you say you can here them when in manual mode.

If you have a backup of your radio memory in the V-Scanner or programming from Win500/ARC500/PSREdit500, maybe you should reload it?

I changed batteries cut it on and it will not pick up digital in scan mode.In manual mode it will pick up digital.Did not change anything but batteries

save your programming nfo then do a reset & reload it
